2023-08-01
The inaugural awards given by the ISLJ (International Society for Literary Juvenilia) for best conference papers go this year to Eliza Richards, recipient of the ISLJ Award for the Best Paper Presented to the 2023 Conference for "Composing ‘at the Handle of the Plough’: George Moses Horton’s Unwritten Writings,” and to Eric Bontempo, recipient of the ISLJ Award for the Best Paper Presented to the 2023 Conference by an Emerging Scholar for "Aestheticizing Melancholy in the Juvenilia of Alfred Tennyson." Both awards come with guaranteed publication in JJS. We congratulate both winners on their accomplishments and thank them for their contribution to juvenilia studies.
